Jonathan Aguirre

I'm a UX researcher with Program Management skills (Agile, Lean, Scrum) acquired from managing projects in UX, multidisciplinary research, fundraising, development, teaching, events, and diversity and inclusion. I have extensive experience developing programs from high-level vision to daily strategic operations.
I'm a co-founder of the Logische Phantasie Lab (Lo-Ph), a research agency that investigates global environmental and racial injustices. I lead our Development and Fundraising efforts.
As a researcher, I engrain my work in the field of environmental justice, studying the intersections between climate change and social inequalities. My doctoral dissertation studies sustainable development projects in the Amazon and their impacts on the local communities and environment. Additional research examines the intersections between the climate crisis and the rise of nationalism in Latin America.
My skills include eight years of global research experience combining qualitative and quantitative methods, project management, information architecture, ethnography, concept testing, focus groups, storyboarding, user-centered design.
When not working I love playing soccer, not being good at yoga, binge-listening to Nat King Cole, walks, crossword puzzles, and playing the guitar.
